Hi! My name is Brittany Neal, and I am a former schoolteacher and current homeschool momma in West Virginia! I have
a Bachelors degree in elementary education,
a Masters degree in gifted education, and have experience teaching in the elementary classroom and as a gifted specialist. I am familiar with the individual learning needs associated with special education and always start with the child’s current abilities when I assess progress, not their age or grade level.
I am familiar with all homeschooling styles and am unschool-friendly, which means I understand the diverse methods and philosophies that families may choose for their educational journey. I am flexible in how I accept portfolios, whether they are in digital format, physical submissions, or a combination of both, ensuring that each family’s preferences are accommodated.
I am also happy to answer any questions and provide guidance throughout the year, whether it’s about curriculum choices, educational resources, or general homeschooling strategies. My goal is always to make the review process as stress-free as possible, so families can focus on what matters most: nurturing their children’s love for learning and fostering their individual interests in a supportive environment where they can thrive.
